Detailed introduction

Motor-specific thermal resistors are divided into three categories: motor embedded thermal resistors, bearing end face thermal resistors and armored thermal resistors. The temperature measuring element currently used in the world is Pt100. Motor embedded thermal resistors are temperature sensors specially used for measuring the temperature of motor (motor or generator) windings or stators. They are buried in the windings or stator cores. After connecting to secondary instruments, they can directly display the temperature of the windings or stator cores in operation, and can also be transmitted to the control room for alarm or control. Bearing end face thermal resistors are sensors specially used to measure the temperature of bearings or bushes at both ends of the motor. Armored thermal resistors are sensors used to measure the temperature of large motor bushes or coolant.

● Sensor structures are divided into winding structures and thin film structures.

● Winding structure thermal resistors are suitable for measuring the average temperature of objects (or media), and thin film structures are suitable for measuring single point temperature.

● The rated working current of the winding structure is ≤5mA, and the rated working current of the thin film structure is ≤3mA.

(I) Motor embedded thermal resistor

1. Overview:

WZP-08-F motor embedded thermal resistor temperature sensor is a platinum resistance temperature sensor commonly used in motor windings, outputting PT100 temperature signal.

2. Technical performance:

a. Temperature measurement range: -40-180℃, -40-200℃;

b. Working current: ≤5mA;

c. The lead structure of platinum thermal resistor is as shown in the figure below, two leads, one white and one red, three leads, two red and one white;

d. Temperature measurement end size: diameter 3mm, length 20mm.

e. Lead material: polytetrafluoroethylene insulated light wire and cable, silver-plated copper wire core;

f. Insulation resistance: ≥ 100MΩ;

g. Thermal response time: t0.5≤10s;

h. Withstand voltage: 50Hz 1000V 1min without breakdown flicker;
