1. Overview

The BWZA explosion-proof temperature sensor is an integrated temperature transmitter, specifically designed by our company for the motor industry as a dedicated thermistor for bearing temperature measurement. It is mainly used for temperature detection and control of motor bearings, and can also be used for measuring and controlling the oil or water temperature of motors. This product has high temperature measurement accuracy, complete specifications, and stable and reliable performance. It is designed and manufactured according to the standard 'Q/HY -002-2010 BWZG series explosion-proof sensors', with explosion-proof markings ExdbIIB/IICT6Gb, ExtbIIICT80℃ Db, and is widely used in various industries such as motors, petroleum, machinery, and chemical engineering.

2. Model and Specifications

  

 

Description:

The product is composite type, with explosion-proof marking ExdIICT4 suitable for places where explosive mixtures of combustible gases of groups IIA, IIB, IIC and T1, T2, T3, T4 are formed with air.

Single-sided output is type A, double-sided output is type B.

This product is widely used in fields such as petroleum, chemical engineering, pharmaceuticals, and machinery.

3. Explosion-proof Principle

The BWZ□ explosion-proof temperature sensor uses an explosion-proof shell to isolate the circuit parts that may produce sparks or arcs from the combustible dust environment or explosive gas mixtures outside the shell, thus achieving explosion-proof purposes. The dimensions of the explosion-proof joint surface comply with GB3836.2 regulations, and the cable entry device complies with GB3836.1-2000 Appendix D regulations.

 4. Installation, Wiring and Precautions

4.1 When installing the junction box, check whether the explosion-proof marking on the junction box nameplate matches the installation environment.

4.2 The connecting wire should be selected as copper shielded cable with a cross-sectional area of not less than 0.2 square millimeters.

4.3 Open the junction box, use a wrench to unscrew the compression nut of the cable entry device, securely connect the cable to the terminal (or terminal block) in the junction box, then cover the junction box and tighten the screws at all four corners.

4.4 The grounding screw on the junction box must be reliably grounded with a grounding wire.

4.5 During installation, signal transmission lines should be fixed with ties at a distance not exceeding 300mm apart. If the signal transmission line is too long, it can be coiled at an appropriate position; do not throw it around randomly and keep it away from heating equipment.

4.6 The sealing ring in the entry device should be replaced in a timely manner if it becomes aged or deteriorated.

4.7 The cover must not be opened in environments with combustible dust present; it is strictly prohibited to open the cover of the junction box while it is energized.

4.8 During maintenance, care should be taken to prevent 'explosion failure' (such as protecting dust-proof explosion-proof surfaces and ensuring tightness of rubber sealing rings in entry devices).

4.9 The minimum outer diameter of cables used by users is φ9.
